Caramelito

Dried fruits and a wall of different types of honey will keep you coming back for more

Caramelito. Tara for TKGO.

Here you’ll find every imaginable dried fruit, nut or wrapped candy treat (including the packaged alfajores). Don’t miss the dried figs of every kind, from Black Mission to Turkish, and the assorted raisins. The wall of homemade honeys in the back will blow your mind—slather it on crackers with your tea for breakfast in the morning (with sour cream and/or jam) if you’re looking to eat like an Argentine. You can also find an assortment of herbal teas that claim to do your body good, and some wine to go with all that sugar.

Note: This is not the U.S.—they leave the pits in the dried fruits. Don’t break your teeth!
